I gave 5 stars because the app is clean, functional, and simple to use. I can do Zulu —> UTC conversions by playing around with the Offset feature in the app, but I really think it needs an actual calculator/conversion feature. Squeeze it in at the bottom between the Zulu Time and Offset Time buttons. This would make the app perfect. Thanks!

On the widget, the date does not roll over with ZuluTime midnight when you open the app. The date is correct.

I love this App, but must say that the complication on the watch was not updating. I read the developer’s response to a user comment about the same. I decided to uninstall the app on my iPhone which uninstalled it form the watch, and then subsequently reinstalled. This fixed the problem. The complication now always show the current Zulu time without having to tap it. Hope this helps someone!

I am an amateur radio operator and this clock is handy to have in my station.

I love the app when flying but would love a widget to put on the title screen in order to make position reports and quick references when planning!

PLEASE display the full HHMM zulu time on the complication WITHOUT having to tap!! Ughhhh. So useless only showing the hour! Show the minutes!!!

Same issue as a few years ago. The watch complication isn’t updating randomly(?). Have to tap into it to get it to update. iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS 17.1.1 & Series 8 Watch with watchOS 10.1.1.

Very useful for aviators. Sometimes the conversion to/from local along with 24 hour time can get confusing with everything else going on. While not fond of the new Apple Watch widgets in general this app would be a good use since all relevant info could be displayed in the widget without accessing the app.

In my Apple7 I applied this app only to discover it does not readily display the actual ZULU time in the display of my watch. What it shows is “21Z Zulu time”. Well, that’s not really helpful for me at all. I have to push the stem in to change the display to the actual ZULU time, in hours and minutes with seconds. Not a time or “hand use saver” nor “attention saver”. It takes more than simply gazing at the watchface and scanning it in one eye movement to gain the needed information. Granted, I’m not a pilot. But, as a licensed shortwave operator, There are times multiple calls are incoming as fast or faster than I can document them . I just want the real time.

As a trainee student pilot myself I always struggle with reading a clock like the normal ones I’m young guys, but this one takes the work for you and gives it to you effortless. Worth every 99 pennies

An older review noted that the iWatch complication show only 22Z (for example) instead of full hours and minutes (like 2215Z, for example). The developer response indicated that this was fixed, which is why I purchased the app. I may be doing something wrong, but I can not get the iWatch complication to show more than just hours in Zulu time.

I bought this app for my Apple Watch and can’t get the complication to show. Why doesn’t the app let me set the complication as my watch face?

Downloaded it, tried to set the offset, put in the -4 hours I needed and app kept defaulting to -5 hours. Probably an excellent app when DST is not in place.

Simple, reliable, easy to read; just what I was looking for.

I’m an Airline Pilot. All aviation weather and many other related reports are based on Zulu time. Using this app versus trying to convert local to Zulu manually is a great time saver for me.

If one does celestial navigation with a sextant, one needs accurate time at the Greenwich meridian in order to determine longitude.

Got this for the widget feature so I can easily glance at Zulu time while in the cockpit. Works great - well worth the few pennies!

The is a good and very useful tool. It would be Great if I could choose to represent local time zone time in the AM/PM format and another time zone in the 24 hour format simultaneously.

I have set my mechanical watches to this for the last few years. It’s simple. It works well. It’s easy to read. Love it!!!!

Hi love to app very useful. Only complaint is on the Apple Watch you swapped the placement of ZuluTime. On my iPhone it displays Zulu above local time in dashboard it’s the same but when I open the app on Apple Watch it’s local time on top and Zulu below after the update. Please update so it’s Zulu above local time like it was and matches the iPhone app. Please. *update: Thank you Derek for listening to your customers and updating and making fixes to your app in a timely manner. This app is great for aircraft mechanic and pilots since everything is in ZuluTime

I love the app and using the complication on my iwatch but part of the day It does not show the time. I think it has to do with the font. I hope you can fix it. it seems to involve the zero and two. it seems to show all the times that begin with a one. Thanks for looking into it.

It consistently is hours behind on the Apple Watch until I tap on it, I cannot rely on it and will be uninstalling it. Just purchased yesterday.

I like everything about this app but I wish it would allow me to set an alarm. That would be quite handy!

I bought this app specifically for the watch face pictured. And it’s nowhere to be found.

Please fix the widget local time not matching the real time. Only on the small widget do you get this issue. widgets are the future!

Local time is not displaying properly on the widget. Inside the app show the correct time, the widget show 2 hours earlier. Worked fine before iOS upgrade to 16.4. support website doesn’t seem to work.

Only request for iPhone please make it so you can put it in landscape view for bedside clock view. Otherwise awesome!

Somewhat nice app. I use it for logging ham radio contacts and need to glance at it often. It needs to be always on when I’m operating. I imagine other users may need to use it in a way where it needs to be always on. It’s a real pain in the neck to always have to go into the general settings of your mobile device to change the Lock Screen to “never” when starting the app, then change it back when finished using it. I have an alarm clock app that has such a setting and can stay on all night. It should be quite easy to add a setting or option for this in the app. Otherwise, this would be a five star app.

I have a 24 hour clock in my Ham shack, so this goes everywhere with me for quick reference.

Great app easy to use

ZuluTime is fully customizable and automatically syncs and displays the correct time in ZULU according to location chosen. In addition, you may choose the arrangement of multiple ZULU TIME clocks and manually calibrate the UTC of that location.

The app is great, almost. The widget does not update the local time. When pressed to open the app, the local time displays correctly, but not on the Home Screen via the widget itself. Derek thanks for reaching out but the links to contact you directly are broken (Not Found message). On the widget the local time remains in the previous time zone I was in. It doesn’t update if I just switch in and out of Airplane Mode. If I restart my phone the local time will update. Again, even if the widget doesn’t update, if I open the app the local time is correct. This is only an issue with the local time. Zulu time is correct. I’m running Version 3.5 on iPhone 8 iOS 14.2. Hope this helps.

Great app for knowing when to contact DX as the app shows when persons are up.

An easy way to reference Zulu while planning a flight. Anything that reduces my work load is good.

I use for flight plans. It works great and adjust perfectly for DST.

I like the app and use it when flying. It would be great if the compilation would show the actual Zulu hour without having to tap on the app on my iWatch to see the actual Zulu time. It always shows “22Z”. Not a big deal, but just one more step when things get busy in the cockpit. It came in super handy for a flight recently though when ATC asked for a position report when I wasn’t in a radar environment. I tapped on the compilation and gave them position info with Zulu times. Also great for confirming TAF’s, METAR’s and ATIS info that are all done in Zulu time.

Complication works for roughly a day after a reboot, then freezes. Selecting the complication shows the correct Zulu time, but when you return to the watch face, the complication is still frozen.

Having problems on my Apple Watch. Every two or three day Z time looses its time and gradually reverts to local time? I have to reset Z time each time thru the iPhone app to get Z time back on my watch. Is this a common problem? Please help Tried to contact support wrote the above and there is no way to send comment? Please fix loss of time on Apple Watch. It’s been several months now since you said you would look into it.
